Hans Vissers

Hans is a Senior Consulting Scientist within Scientific Operations at Waters Corporation where he currently focuses on developing applied informatics solutions for challenging analytical LC-MS problems in collaboration with internal departments and external collaborators. His other interests include high-resolution qualitative and quantitative LC-MS, biomedical research related applications, and the application of ion mobility as a separation technique. Throughout 2020 and 2021, Hans managed several Waters Innovation Response Team collaborations related to COVID-19 diagnostics. He has been a member of the Jim Waters Society since 2018. Before joining Waters Corporation, Hans worked for more than 5 years with a life-sciences technology startup, where he was responsible for the product and application development for microcolumn LC-MS. He is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of PRIDE PRoteomics IDEntifications (PRIDE) database and supervises and mentors PhD students from various universities.
