This course explains how the ACQUITY UPLC system combines new chemistry with advances in instrumentation to access increased speed, resolution and sensitivity in chromatographic analysis. Included in the course are exercises such as basic login for Empower and MassLynx, becoming familiar with the ACQUITY Console software, priming the instrument, running test and sample solutions, method transfer, running static leak test, rebuilding a pump head, replacing a needle and changing a column.
Who Should Attend
This course is for individuals who want to push the limits of conventional HPLC and understand the chemistry, operating principles and user maintenance of the ACQUITY Ultra Performance LC system. Ultra Performance LC presents the possibility to extend and expand the utility of this widely used separation science.
Prerequisites
Attendees should be familiar with the basic principles of HPLC.
Course Notes
Each attendee receives a course manual for reference and will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
Cancellation Policy
Courses will have a minimum of 4 attendees. Attendees should have a minimum of 6 weeks experience operating the equipment. While every effort will be made to accommodate customer training requirements, attendees should note that training may be performed on a different version of hardware/software than that which is being used in their lab. Cancellation is required 10 business days prior to the start of a course to avoid 100% billing.
Hours
Class times may vary by course but generally are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Lunch and refreshments are included in the course fee.
