How Are The Ion Exchange Packings Conditioned?

To ensure optimal performance, it is strongly advised to condition any Ion Exchange Packings intended for nonpolar, organic solvent samples using the sample solvent itself. Conversely, for samples dissolved in polar solvents, it is recommended to condition the packings using a water-miscible organic solvent, followed by an aqueous solution with the appropriate pH, organic solvent content, and salt concentration. This conditioning process is essential to prepare the packings and ensure their compatibility with the specific sample solvents, promoting accurate and reliable ion exchange chromatography results.

What Particle Size Can The Sep-Pak C18 96-well Plate Support?

The Sep-Pak C18 96-well Plate offers a particle size range of 55-105µm, featuring a pore size of 125Å and a carbon load of 12%. It exhibits excellent stability and performance within a pH range of 2-8, accommodating a wide variety of samples.
