Product Description

CORTECS Shield RP18 method validation kits provide columns of three different batches. CORTECS Shield RP18 columns provides complimentary selectivity to C8 and C18 stationary phases. The embedded carbamate group in the bonded phase ligand provides alternate selectivity, especially for phenolic compounds compared to straight chain alkyl columns. The solid core particle morphology offers high efficiency and lower backpressures when compared to fully porouse particles of similar particle size.

CORTECS Shield RP18 Method Validation Kit, 90Å, 1.6 µm, 2.1 mm X 50 mm, 3/pk

CORTECS Shield RP18 method validation kits provide columns of three different batches. CORTECS Shield RP18 columns provide complimentary selectivity to C8 and C18 stationary phases. The embedded carbamate group in the bonded phase ligand provides alternate selectivity, especially for phenolic compounds compared to straight chain alkyl columns. The solid core particle morphology offers high efficiency and lower back pressures when compared to fully porous particles of similar particle size. This particular listing contains three columns with RP18, ODS, and Octadecyl chemistries.

Use the all-purpose lab equipment in the CORTECS Shield RP18 Method Validation Kitto retain resolution while increasing throughput or resolving complicated mixes. Due to the solid-core particles' improved performance in lowering each of the three terms of the van Deemter equation, the column is able to produce excellent results. As the solid core particles pack more uniformly, the equation's A term decreases, and the B term decreases as the solid core particles have smaller particle porosity, which lessens axial diffusion. Their solid core enhances heat transport, lowering radial temperature gradients, which lowers the C term.

Browse our online store to purchase lab equipment such as the various iterations of the CORTECS columns described here or additional items that complement them.

You will receive a number of advantages by adding the Waters CORTECS Shield RP18 Method Validation Kit. The lab equipment is adaptable, general-purpose, and produces data with great efficacy. The CORTECS Shield RP18 Method Validation Kit will produce a great peak shape for basic analytes at low pH because it is built on a solid-core particle that offers balanced retention of acids, bases, and neutrals at low and mid-range pH.

Protect your CORTECS Shield RP18 lab equipment using the .CORTECS Shield RP18 VanGuard Pre-column, 90Å, 1.6 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk. Manufactured using the exact same packing materials as the kit, the pre-column prevents any contaminants from entering the mobile stream, increasing analysis accuracy.

What Are The CORTECS Shield RP18 Method Validation Kit's pH Limits?

The CORTECS Shield RP18 Method Validation Kit listed here offers a pH range of 2-8.

What Is The Maximum Pressure For The CORTECS Shield RP18 Method Validation Kit?

This particular CORTECS Shield RP18 Method Validation Kit can tolerate a maximum pressure of 18000 psi (1240 Bar).
