XTerra MS C18 Column, 125Å, 3.5 µm, 3.9 mm X 100 mm, 1/pk

For improved pH stability than a silica-based column, use the XTerra MS C18 Column. For mass spectrometry uses, a general-purpose, hybrid-based, reversed-phase C18 column has been created. The XTerra MS C18 column has a sharp peak shape, good sensitivity, and large peak capacity. The tri-functional bonding chemistry of the XTerra particles is used to achieve this. The lab equipment has one of the longest lifetimes over a wide pH range, maximum productivity, excellent resolution, and extremely little column bleed when compared to conventional silica-based columns.

The XTerra MS C18 column's packing materials have been made using Waters Hybrid Particle Technology. Due to the fact that they contain both inorganic (silica) and organic (organosiloxane) components, the particles combine the advantages of both silica and organosiloxane components. This hybrid technology enables the XTerra MS C18 lab equipment to provide greater separation efficiency and better pH stability as compared to silica-based reversed-phase packing materials.

One of the various options is the XTerra MS C18 column listed above. You can browse the Waters website to find the lab equipment that best fits your requirements.

Only ultrapure ingredients are used in the creation of the XTerra MS C18 Column, and the chemical makeup and purity of the hybrid particle are closely regulated. Each step of the production process is painstakingly controlled and completed within small tolerances. Additionally, each column is manually examined to guarantee that you only receive the best lab supplies. To guarantee quality, certificates of Batch Analysis and Column Efficiency are also given with each column.

We recommend that you also use the XTerra MS C18 VanGuard Cartridge, 125Å, 3.5 µm, 3.9 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk alongside the column in order to protect the column from the interference of unwanted contaminants, both chemical and particulate. The cartridge is made using the exact packing materials that are present in the column, making them an ideal fit for one another.

Across What pH Range Does The XTerra MS C18 Column Operate?

The Waters XTerra MS C18 Column listed here is able to work well across the 1-12 pH range.

Is There A Maximum Pressure Recommended For The XTerra MS C18 Column?

For this particular XTerra MS C18 Column, the recommended maximum pressure is 6,000 psi (415 Bar).
