XBridge BEH Phenyl XP Column, 130Å, 2.5 µm, 3 mm X 150 mm, 3/pk

If your analysis needs complementary selectivity to C18 stationary phases, especially for polyaromatic compounds, opt for the Waters XBridge BEH Phenyl XP Column. You also get higher flexibility in developing orthogonal methods for particularly challenging separations. Using this lab equipment, you can benefit from ultra-low column bleed, long column lifetimes, and excellent peak shape as it is the most chemically stable commercially available Phenyl sorbent on the market. The 2.5 µm XBridge eXtended Performance [XP] Column can easily deliver exceptional separation performance, robustness, and throughput for HPLC assays while enabling a seamless transition path toward UPLC adoption, making it a reliable and crucial addition to your lab equipment collection.

An important advantage offered by the XBridge BEH Phenyl XP Column is the flexibility to work across a range of mobile phase pH and temperature while guaranteeing unmatched column lifetime to meet the needs of chromatographic analysis. Using the analytical column, you can also seamlessly transfer methods to UPLC technology.

The XBridge BEH Phenyl Column also offers a wide operating pH range (1-12) when it is compared to traditional phenyl liquid chromatography columns, which allows for more robust method development. In addition to this, the trifunctional bonding used in the phenyl hexyl-ligand enables XBridge column to offer exceptional low and high pH stability, making it the most reproducible phenyl column in the market.

Which Column Is More Polar C8 Or C18?

There are a few differences between the two columns: C18 has 18 carbon atoms while C8 has only 8 carbon atoms. A C18 column has a longer carbon chain, but C8 column has a shorter one. The C18 column has higher retention while C8 has shorter retention. The C18 column also offers higher hydrophobicity, but C8 has a lower hydrophobicity.
