ACQUITY UPLC M-Class Columns are designed for optimal performance for nano- to micro scale liquid chromatographic separation, offering the highest possible sensitivity, resolution and reproducibility for biomarker discovery and protein identification and characterization. The superior design of 75µm to 180µm ID columns enables them to be operated at 15kpsi operating pressure and handle pressure fluctuations during injection extremely well and thus provide superior longevity. Trap columns allow the scientist to perform complex 2D separations and to enrich and re-focus the sample before eluting to the nano-separation column for the final separation. The 2D Trap Columns are designed for 2D applications where the first dimension utilizes high pH. The unique combination of fritting technologies allows for the high pH compatibility. This allows the trap columns to withstand pressure changes during injection and thus provide superior longevity. In order to achieve maximum performance, it is important to ensure that proper connections are made to minimize peak tailing and poor efficiency. This trap column is designed for high throughput applications, featuring a V-detail connection on both ends. The trap columns are rated at 15kpsi. This specific offering contains Waters Symmetry 100A pore, C18, 5um particles.
