CORTECS Premier C8 columns are used for general purpose method development under low pH test conditions. The C8 ligand is preferred for some assays because it is less hydrophobic and therefore less retetntive compared to C18 phases. The particle morphology offers high efficiency and lower backpressures when compared to fully porouse particles of similar particle size. CORTECS Premier Columns feature the inert MaxPeak High Performance Surface hardware technology which significantly reduces unwanted analyte/surface interactions, resulting in improved peak shapes, reproducibility, and signal intensity.
