MS-Directed Purification for Ultimate Specificity
When fraction collection is triggered by mass detection, only the mass of interest is collected, thus fewer fractions need to be dried down and re-analyzed, increasing throughput and lowering per sample costs. This highly efficient and specific technique generates both MS and UV spectral data on all peaks, but only targets known compounds. This configuration is capable of collections with UV-directed, MS-directed, or mixed mode techniques.
