Unprecedented SensitivityRapiFluor-MS is a reagent comprised of an NHS carbamate rapid tagging group, an efficient quinoline fluorophore, and a highly basic tertiary amine for enhancing MS ionization. As an NHS carbamate, unlike alternative rapid tagging reagents, it hydrolyzes over time to generate carbon dioxide and a corresponding amine. This makes RapiFluor-MS labeling a self-quenching reaction. Enhanced chemical properties for glycan analysis:

Versatile Formats for 24 to 96 SamplesThe GlycoWorks RapiFluor-MS N-Glycan Kits offer two flexible options depending on your sample preparation needs. The 96-sample kits provide enough materials to process 96 samples, 24 at a time. The 24-sample kits provide enough materials to process 24 samples, eight at a time.
* A vacuum manifold or positive pressure processor is required for the µElution Plate. |
AutomationWaters offers a variety of solutions for workflow automation including the Andrew+ pipetting robot and OneLab, the protocol design and execution software. Additionally, verified scripts for the GlycoWorks RapiFluor-MS method are available for our partner platforms. We provide you with the information needed, no matter the platform, to ensure that you can start achieving your automation results faster.

Characterization Made SimplerRapiFluor-MS provides increased fluorescence quantification along with unprecedented mass spectral signal intensity. Low abundance glycans can thus by easily assigned and characterized by serial fluorescence and mass spectrometric detection. Less sample can be used while still obtaining increased sensitivity. When labeled glycans were analyzed by HILIC chromatography, RapiFluor-MS produced the following results:
