TruView LCMS Certified Amber Glass 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and PTFE/Silicone Septum, 2 mL Volume, 100/pk
Amber Glass vials prevent your samples from damage caused by UV light exposure. UV-tested by HPLC, the TruView LCMS Certified Amber Glass Screw Neck Vial with Cap and PTFE/Silicone Septum identifies even trace quantities of chemicals used in the production and packaging process.
To ensure that all of your solvents, solutions, and samples are maintained safely in a chemically inert environment, use the TruView LCMS Certified Amber Glass Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and PTFE/Silicone Septum. The TruView LCMS Certified vials, like all Waters products, are manufactured using highly controlled manufacturing methods and handling protocols. The manufacturing facilities employ the cleanest ingredients and follow ISO 9001 guidelines. All TruView LCMS Certified Amber Glass Screw Neck Vials with Cap and PTFE/Silicone Septum are mass spectrometer clean and ACQUITY/MS/MS low analyte adsorption tested.
This lab vial has a Screw Neck, which is an important design feature that allows the vial to mechanically retain the septum in place and secure it during piercing. This lab equipment will also supply you with a resealable container, allowing you to use the sample for repeated injections and sample storage, thanks to the vial's design and the vial incorporating PTFE/Silicone Septum. With a recommended operating temperature range of -40°C to 200°C, the PTFE/Silicone septum is chemically resistant until pierced, then achieves the chemical compatibility of the silicone after being punctured, making it a great choice of apparatus for a wide range of applications.
If you'd like to learn more about Waters' equipment, please look through our brochure or visit our website to shop for lab equipment that meets your needs. You'll be able to compare several vial types, such as the TruView LCMS Certified Amber Glass Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and PTFE/Silicone Septum vial shown below, as well as colored and clear glass vials.
You may also be interested in the Waters Black Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum for TruView Vials, which are color coded. Black caps are spare caps for TruView LC/MS Certified Vials. The septum will enable you to replace the pre-slit PTFE/Silicone septum of the glass vials and offers sufficient venting to prevent vacuum formation in the sample vial. It delivers outstanding sample-draw reproducibility while exhibiting excellent resealing characteristics.
