Deactivated Clear Glass 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum, 2 mL, Pre-Assembled for Dissolution Systems, 100/pk

Deactivated Clear Glass Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum is designed with a silanized surface to prevent adsorption of highly polar molecules. It is vital that one uses a deactivated glass vial where samples might have highly polar analytes to avoid loss of sample, loss of time, or the need to run the analysis again.

This Vial is designed with a Screw Neck shape and cap with pre-slit PTFE/Silicone septum; when the cap is screwed on, a mechanical force squeezes the septum between the glass rip and the cap, creating a seal. This seal helps to mechanically hold the septum in place during piercing so you can easily conduct the transfer of analytes, and with its easy-to-use design, you don't need any additional tools or equipment to equip it. These features assist in reducing any sample loss due to spillage. The Deactivated Clear Glass Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum has been pre-assembled for dissolution systems.

PTFE/Silicone septum is highly recommended to use in analysis where multiple injections are needed, and you may need to store a sample as it exhibits exceptions resealing characteristics and it is chemically resistant until punctured. After it is punctured, it will attain the chemical compatibility of the silicone, with a recommended operating temperature range of -40 ˚C to 200, ˚C making them usable across a wide range of applications.

Deactivated Clear Glass Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum is manufactured and handled using chemically inert materials to ensure the vials are free from any contaminants or impurities and enable you to have interference-free results. With the unique design and properties of our caps, they protect your results from any leakage and provide a long shelf life for storing your sample and results.

What Does The Term Elution Stand For?

Elution is the chromatographic process of using a solvent to extract an adsorbed substance from a solid adsorbing medium or the removal of antibodies from the antigen to which they are attached. In the process, the eluent or eluant is the "carrier" portion of the mobile phase, which moves the analytes through the chromatograph.
