ACQUITY MS Test Solutions
The Mass Spectrometry Standards Kit is used to undertake operational and performance qualification on single and triple quadrupole mass spectrometry instruments such as the SQD and TQD, among many others. These standards can be used to assess the linearity and limit of the MS detector.
The package includes a total of seven solutions, including 10 mL of two vials of 1 mg/mL sulfadimethoxine in methanol. Sulfadimethoxine dilutions can be utilized to perform injector linearity and accuracy, MS detector linearity, system precision, flow rate linearity, and carryover tests for qualification. On the MS, it may also be used to test repeatability, sensitivity, peak width, signal-to-noise, and other parameters. 10 mL of acetonitrile containing 1 mg/mL of terfenadine, reserpine, acetaminophen, and caffeine. Gradient testing can also be performed using a combination of the stock solutions provided. Because all stock solutions are separately provided in 1 mg/mL concentrations, all substances listed can be mixed and matched as desired. And 10 mL formic acid in solvents, formic acid is employed as a modifier.
The ACQUITY MS Test Solutions is provided as a single unit per package and has a shelf life of 24 months if properly stored. How Does Elution Work Exactly?
Elution is the chromatographic process of utilizing a solvent to extract an adsorbed substance from a solid adsorbing media or the separation of an antibody from the antigen to which it is bound. In the process, the eluent or eluant is the "carrier" component of the mobile phase that conveys the analytes through the chromatograph.
