Tris CaCl2 Buffer Salts, pH 7.5 is provided as lyophilized salts of tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (tris) hydrochloride and calcium chloride. These salts are packaged in a screw top amber glass bottle and intended to be dissolved with 7 mL water to prepare a pH 7.5 buffer comprised of 100 mM Tris HCl and 10 mM calcium chloride. Tris CaCl2 Buffer Salts pH 7.5 are intended for use in the preparation of enzymatic digests for a balance of completeness of digestion and minimized deamidation artifacts. This includes use with RapiZyme trypsin.
