Inline Precolumn Filter Kit
The In-Line Precolumn Filter is a 2μm filter that goes before the column to help it last longer and maintain its chemistry. The In-Line Precolumn Filter is typically ordered as part of the Accessories for Extraction Columns and Cartridges with Sep-Pak Cartridges and Columns.
Waters also has a series of other product offerings intended for different types of chromatography with whom the in-line Pre-Column filter kit can be used in the system. The Waters Sugar-PakTM Column, for example, is used in beet, cane, and starch hydrolysis processing plants to analyze sugar products and process streams, as well as for incoming quality inspection of commercial sugar products. The higher oligomers found in ordinary corn syrups can be isolated from glucose, fructose, maltose, and maltotriose. The reduction of fermentable sugars and the formation of alcohol can be used to track the progress of alcoholic fermentations.
For the separation of sugar products set up, if a Guard-PakTM Pre-Column module is utilized, disposable pre-column area filter inserts (P/N WAT032472) can be used instead of the end fittings in the system. After the Guard-Pak Pre-Column insertion, the system should be united by a union. The column can be omitted if it is not being utilized as a guard column. Flush the entire liquid chromatography system, and it is advisable to use an in-line pre-column filter (P/N WAT084560) first with water, then methanol, and store it in methanol.
The In-line Pre-Column Filter Kit is manufactured within dedicated state-of-the-art Waters facilities that have the most stringent industry standards and quality control practices in place. These practices ensure the lab equipment you receive is free from any impurities and provides you with the best results in the industry.
You can browse through the Waters brochure or through the website to find additional product offerings that may interest you and shop for lab equipment. You might also be interested in Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material. The portfolio of Quality Control Reference Materials is a one-of-a-kind set of standards and mixtures. Before analyzing vital material, these items allow the user to analyze and benchmark their chromatography equipment. The goods in the range have all been uniquely designed using Waters scientists' expertise. Because it comprises components that can be difficult to separate, the Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material is a very complicated reference material mixture. It is intended to give this level of complexity and is appropriate for use when performing sophisticated experiments on a regular basis. It works with a wide range of column chemistries and sizes, as well as system hardware.
What Does The Acronym HPLC Refer To?
HPLC is an acronym for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography. This refers to the analytical technique used to separate and identify different components of a mixture in laboratories by scientists and chemists.
