Product Description

Sep-Pak Alumina N Vac cartridges contain a highly active grade of alumina with a neutral surface chemistry. The aluminum oxide surface provides an extremely polar surface for analyte retention and has properties of a Lewis acid. This normal phase sorbent is similar in use to silica; however, it is slightly more stable than unfunctionalized silica under high pH conditions. This neutral alumina is suitable for applications such as synthetic crude oil fractionation. These syringe-barrel-type cartridges are designed for use with vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments.

Sep-Pak Alumina N 6 cc Vac Cartridge, 1 g Sorbent per Cartridge, 50-300 µm, 30/pk

The Waters Sep-Pak Alumina N 6 cc Vac Cartridge is made up of highly active alumina with neutral surface chemistry. The aluminum oxide surface in the lab equipment has the properties of a Lewis acid and provides an exceptionally polar surface for analyte retention. While this normal phase sorbent is similar to silica in terms of application, it performs differently because it is slightly more stable under high pH circumstances than non-functionalized silica. This is why neutral alumina is ideal for applications such as fractionation of synthetic crude oil.

Add the Sep-Pak Alumina N 6 cc Vac Cartridge to your lab equipment collection for simple and easy extraction of solvents, solutions, and samples, as well as convenient transfer without worrying about spillage or sample loss due to evaporation. For sample enrichment and purification, the lab equipment is a dependable and exact chromatographic tool.

The Sep-Pak Alumina N 6 cc Vac Cartridge is a versatile piece of lab equipment that can be simply attached to pumps and syringes for consistent, positive-pressure flow to reduce sample processing time. It can also be utilized on vacuum-assisted flow devices and certain automated systems with removable reservoirs.

Order the Sep-Pak Alumina N 6 cc Vac Cartridge with confidence that the product's quality will be preserved throughout its transit. This is because the lab equipment is packaged in a non-contaminating poly-foil pouch that ensures product integrity, packaging inactivity, and purity until it is opened in your lab. Our online store, which lists our contact centers across the world, allows you to shop for lab equipment. We recommend the use of the Long Needle Valve for Sep-Pak Device Vacuum Manifold, 20/pk, which enables you to process samples easily and control the flow of the sample while being able to reach the bottom of the vessel. To ensure that none of the analytes react with the material and alter the purity of the analytes or the quality of the output and analysis results, the lab equipment is made of high-grade, highly inert Polypropylene.
