Sep-Pak Florisil 6 cc Vac Cartridge, 500 mg Sorbent per Cartridge, 50-200 µm, 30/pk
The Sep-Pak Florisil 6 cc Vac Cartridge uses the Florisil™, which is an extremely polar sorbent, made from a blend of magnesium oxide and silica gel. This highly active and weakly basic sorbent is used to adsorb low to moderate polarity species from nonaqueous solutions. The Sep-Pak Florisil 6 cc Vac Cartridge is very well suited for pesticide analysis in many AOAC, EPA, and JPMHLW regulated methods for food and environmental samples.
Depend on the Sep-Pak Florisil 6 cc Vac Cartridge to easily extract your solvents, solutions, and samples. It also helps to conveniently transfer them, without worrying about spillage or sample loss due to evaporation. As the Sep-Pak Florisil 6 cc Vac Cartridge is a precision chromatographic tool for sample enrichment and purification, it is a crucial piece of lab equipment.
The product integrity of the Sep-Pak Florisil 6 cc Vac Cartridge is guaranteed because the lab equipment is sealed in a specially designed, non-contaminating poly-foil pouch that maintains product integrity, packing inactivity, and purity until the package is opened. Additionally, the Sep-Pak C18 Classic Cartridge contains the highest quality packings that have been designed and made specifically for sample preparation. The packings are clean, dry, reproducible in activity and capacity.
A blend of HD and UHMW polyethylene is used for the 20 µm frit in the design of the Sep-Pak Florisil 6 cc Vac Cartridge. This frit gives excellent solvent resistance, very low extractable levels, and good flow properties, as well as performing the function of a depth filter that retains small amounts of sample debris.

What Is A Stationary Phase?
In Liquid Chromatography, the stationary phase is the separation medium that acts as a constraint on many of the components in a mixture, slowing them down to move slower than the mobile phase.
