Sep-Pak Aminopropyl (NH2) Classic Cartridge, 360 mg Sorbent per Cartridge, 55 - 105 µm, 50/pk
Sep-Pak™ bonded silica devices are well-known throughout the world and continue to be the most commonly used SPE product for sample preparation. Sep-Pak SPE Products are ideal for all types of samples for GC, HPLC, and UPLC analysis methods due to their diverse selection of formats and sorbents.
Sep-Pak Amino Propyl (NH2) Classic cartridges contain a moderately polar, silica-based bonded phase with a weakly basic surface. The sorbent can be used as a polar sorbent with different selectivity for acidic/basic analytes or as a weak anion exchange in an aqueous medium below pH 8. Applications include extraction of phenols and phenolic pigments, petroleum fractionation, saccharides, drugs, and metabolites. These Classic-style cartridges are designed for use with positive displacement by a Luer-tip syringe and can also attach easily to vacuum-assisted flow devices using a male/male adaptor.

These products enable the user to evaluate and benchmark their chromatography system prior to performing critical material analysis. The portfolio's products have all been specially formulated based on the expertise of Waters scientists. Thionin, Thioflavin, and Crystal Violet are among the three compounds in the AutoPurification Dye Standard. Through fraction collection, this standard mix is used to confirm the benchmark performance of a Preparative/Purification System. This QCRM has been specially designed to allow the user to verify the correct fraction collection. This test is extremely valuable to perform upon first use/installation, as well as whenever the system has not been used or has undergone any changes.
Filtration Can Be Performed In What Ways?
Draw 1 mL of air into the device before adding a sample to the syringe. This allows the air to exit the syringe along with the sample. This "air purge" reduces the fluid retention of the filter device. Inject the filtered solution into the syringe now. Twist the filled syringe onto the filter device with one hand while holding the filter device in the other. Apply light pressure to begin the filtration process.
