Oasis MAX Online Prospekt-2/Symbiosis Cartridge, 80Å, 30 µm10 mm, 96/pk

The Oasis MAX cartridges for Symbiosis/Prospekt-2 systems are developed for durable, repeatable, and ultra-fast on-line SPE in the Spark Holland Symbiosis and Prospekt-2 systems. Each cartridge includes 10.4 mg of Oasis MAX, which is a water-wettable, mixed-mode polymeric sorbent that has been designed for extracting acidic chemicals with anion-exchange groups. Each 800-series tray holds 96 cartridges and can be inserted directly into the Symbiosis/Prospekt-2 systems' Automatic Cartridge Exchange (ACE) or ACE Feeder units without the stainless steel tray holder/adaptor.

Because the Oasis MAX sorbent is water wettable, it keeps its potential to provide increased retention and superior recoveries even if the sorbent runs dry, removing the need for extra precautions to prevent the sorbent beds from drying out during the crucial operations leading up to sample loading. Because the cartridges have no flanges, they can be densely packed for use in specialized automated SPE apparatus.

The cartridge's Oasis MAX sorbent has been modified to offer improved selectivity and sensitivity for extracting acidic chemicals containing anion-exchange groups. You can use the Oasis MAX Online Prospekt-2/Symbiosis Cartridge with any Waters narrow-bore analytical column, including the XSelect, XBridge, SunFire, Atlantis, XTerra, or Symmetry column. The Oasis MAX Online cartridge column fits into a Sentry holder, which has a thin, nearly finger-tight fit for quick, easy change. These features make the Oasis MAX Online Cartridge an essential piece of laboratory equipment.

The technology can be swiftly applied to optimize your laboratory's workflow because it requires little to no method development and follows a basic procedure. Ostro provides for more sensitive studies, higher sample throughput, and less instrument downtime by producing cleaner, more reproducible extracts than competing phospholipid devices or procedures.

Why Does My LC System Keep Shutting Down Repeatedly?

HPLC pumps and systems have an overpressure setting to ensure system safety and protect the columns and equipment. If your system is set too low or has too much backpressure, the pump may stop down to protect the LC system. Other causes could be that the lines need to be cleaned or that residual or crystallized material is blocking/choking the system.
