The 1 cc Vac Oasis MAX The Oasis MAX sorbent, a mixed-mode, water wettable polymeric sorbent, is used in the cartridge column. Oasis MAX stands for Mixed-mode Anion-eXchange reversed-phase sorbent for acids. The sorbent provides a robust mixed-mode anion exchange, it is water-wettable, and it is a polymeric sorbent stable from pH 0 to 14. These characteristics make it ideal for a wide range of applications, including detecting, confirming, or quantifying acidic substances other than acidic metabolites in biological fluids.
The Oasis MAX is a new, mixed-mode polymeric sorbent that has been tuned to offer higher selectivity and sensitivity for extracting acidic chemicals with anion-exchange groups in the 1 cc flangeless Oasis MAX cartridges. Because the Oasis MAX sorbent is water wettable, it retains its potential to provide higher retention and superior recoveries even if the sorbent runs dry, eliminating the need for extra precautions to prevent the sorbent beds from drying out during the key processes leading up to sample loading.
