Oasis WAX 3 cc Vac Cartridge, 60 mg Sorbent per Cartridge, 60 µm, 100/pk
The Oasis WAX 3 cc Vac Cartridge incorporates the Oasis WAX sorbent, which is a polymeric reversed-phase, weak anion-exchange mixed-mode sorbent that has been optimized for fast, simple, and highly selective sample preparation of strong acidic compounds. This mixed-mode sorbent is water-wettable and polymeric in nature and can be used across the widest operating pH of 0-14. These syringe-barrel-type cartridges are designed for use with vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments. The lab equipment is ultra-clean to ensure no contamination interferes with your analysis or sample preparation.
The use of the Oasis WAX sorbent means that the Oasis WAX 3 cc Vac Cartridge is water wettable and maintains its capability for higher retention and excellent recovery even if the sorbent runs dry. This means there is no need to take extraordinary steps to keep the sorbent beds from drying out during the critical steps prior to sample loading.
The Oasis WAX sorbent exhibits all the advantages of the Oasis HLB, providing rugged and highly selective SPE methods to detect, confirm and quantify strongly acidic compounds in biological fluids. In addition to this, the novel, well-controlled Waters production process delivers Oasis WCX with 0.6 meq/g of piperazine-ion-exchange capacity.
This listing features the 60 µm particle size, which is recommended when working with viscous samples. However, the Oasis WAX cartridge is available in a wider variety of 30 µm and 5 µm particle sizes as well to suit your needs, for which you can shop directly from us as well from the Waters online store. The store will also help you find more products that work in conjunction with your equipment, so you can shop for all your necessary lab equipment conveniently.
We recommend that you also explore the Waters XBridge BEH C18 Method Validation Kit, 130Å, 2.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 100 mm, 3/pk. The kit is a combination pack that provides you with three universal columns for most HPLC separations and gives you the widest usable pH range, superior low pH stability, and ultra-low column bleed.
What Is The Role Of Stationary Phase In HPLC?
The stationary phase is responsible for acting as a constraint on many of the components in a mixture, slowing them down to move slower than the mobile phase.
