Oasis HLB Online Column, 80Å, 15 µm, 2.1 mm X 20 mm, 1/pk

The Oasis HLB on-line column is intended for tough, repeatable, and ultra-fast on-line SPE. The on-line column is equipped with the universal polymeric Oasis HLB sorbent, which has been optimized for the extraction of a wide range of analytes from various matrices. The Oasis HLB on-line column is intended for use with a Waters narrow-bore analytical column such as the XSelect, XBridge, SunFire, Atlantis, XTerra, or Symmetry. The column is outfitted with standard HPLC column fittings and hardware.

The Oasis HLB is a multipurpose reverse-phase sorbent that can boost sensitivity and provide analyte specificity by using a mixed-mode oasis sorbent with reversed-phase and ion-exchange capabilities for orthogonal sample preparation.

Regular solid-phase extraction procedures require equilibration and condition steps to ensure that sorbents are ready for sample input. The sorbent must be wetted during the conditioning step for the liquid to enter and remain in the pores. To prepare the sorbent for aqueous sample loading, wet it and then equilibrate it with the aqueous solution. Because the Oasis HLB is a water-wettable sorbent, analytes can interact with it and be retained when loaded directly into an aqueous sample solution. As a result, using the Oasis HLB allows you to conduct your analysis more efficiently because it eliminates the need for equilibration and condition steps.

You may also be interested in checking out Oasis Method Development Sorbent Selection Plate, 10 mg Sorbent per Well, 30 µm, 1/pk; The Oasis sorbent selection plate was created to take the guesswork out of developing SPE methods. The 96-well plate format accommodates three rows of each of the four Oasis mixed-mode ion-exchange chemistries: strong and weak anion exchangers (MAX and WAX), as well as strong and weak cation exchangers (MCX and WCX). Having all of the Oasis ion-exchange sorbents in a single plate makes it easy to scout the best methods for achieving efficient isolation of unknown analytes, zwitterionic compounds, or mixtures of analytes with different retention/elution properties. The development of sample preparation methods for these four chemistries can be accomplished quickly and easily using only two SPE protocols.

What Does Pesticide Analysis Entail?

A pesticide residue test uses a thorough chemical and microbiological analysis to reveal the amounts of pesticide residue in food items, giving food producers and manufacturers confidence in the contents of their products.
