The Oasis MCX, which is a new, mixed-mode polymeric sorbent that has been tuned to produce improved selectivity and sensitivity for extracting basic chemicals with cation-exchange groups, is contained in the Oasis MCX 1 cc Vac Cartridge. Because the Oasis MCX sorbent is water wettable, it retains its potential to provide higher retention and excellent recoveries even if the sorbent runs dry, eliminating the need for extra precautions to prevent the sorbent beds from drying out during the key processes leading up to sample loading. When working with viscous substances, a particle size of 60 µm is recommended. These syringe-barrel cartridges are made for vacuum manifolds and automated SPE devices.
