Bondapak C18 Radial-Pak Column, 125Å, 15 - 20 µm, 47 mm X 300 mm, 1/pk
This Bondapak Column is a general-purpose, silica-based, reversed-phase C18 Column that is based on 15-20µm particle technology. Generally, the Bondapak C18 particle is available in two different particle sizes, 15-20µm and 37-55µm, providing easy method transfer from µBondapak through preparative scale up. If you are developing a new purification protocol, Bondapak provides the best balance between resolution, throughput, and cost.
The analytical column is manufactured in the dedicated Waters chromatography chemistry manufacturing plant under the strictest cGMP, ISO 9002 conditions. At the manufacturing plant, silica-based and polymeric chromatography materials are synthesized and packed into columns and solid-phase extraction devices. This ensures that you get the highest quality lab equipment that delivers consistent and reliable analysis results. You get the most critical performance features when you purchase the Bondapak C18 Radial-Pak Column: column efficiency, peak symmetry, column lifetime, and column-to-column reproducibility.
You can increase your productivity with the ideal lab equipment. The vials are tested with mass spectrometers and come packaged with a certificate of analysis showing the reference and vial scan for the manufacturing lot.
How Should The Column Be Stored?
It is important to remember that leaving the column unused for less than four days does not require any special storage process. For storage of the column for longer than four days, store the column in the shipping solvent, which is identical to the column test solvent. The Bondapak C18 Column should be washed with water to remove all buffer salts, then with the organic component of the mobile phase. You can also use a miscible intermediate if needed. Once the column has been washed, remove the cartridges and replace the end caps.
What Is The Importance Of Resolution In Chromatography?
Optimizing separations in chromatography involves leveraging resolution measurements, which rely on two intrinsic properties of the process: peak width and retention time. Since resolution is determined by these characteristics, it serves as a valuable tool for fine-tuning separations. By manipulating peak width and retention time, scientists can strategically enhance resolution and achieve superior separation outcomes. Resolution measurements offer insights into the effectiveness of the chromatographic process, enabling researchers to optimize their analytical methods and attain higher precision and accuracy in their separations.
