µBondapak Cyano (CN) Column, 125Å, 10 µm, 3.9 mm X 300 mm, 1/pk
Based on ultra-high purity fully porous spherical silica gel, bonded with cyanopropyl functional groups, µBondapak Cyano (CN) Column is a general-purpose, silica-based, reversed-phase column that is based on 10 µm particle technology, making it the ideal lab equipment. The column allows both analytical and preparative procedures and is designed for the analysis of irregular particles. In addition, the µBondapak Cyano (CN) Column is well suited to the development of a new purification protocol, as it offers the best balance between resolution, throughput, and cost.
Maximizing bond coverage ensures that the column packing has excellent stability. The µBondapak Cyano (CN) Column elutes rapidly for hydrophobic molecules and has unique selectivity for polar compounds as well as good peak shape for separation of strongly basic compounds. In a situation where a highly hydrophobic compound cannot be eluted with a standard C18 and C8 column or a typical reversed-phase eluent, the µBondapak Cyano (CN) Column will perform the task.
There is only one µBondapak packing material which is authentic and the leader in the field, the Waters µBondapak packing. While many companies claim to have columns with µBondapak-like selectivity, the Waters stringent QC batch test has never been surpassed. Waters has set a standard for reproducible, high-performance chromatographic columns which is hard to match. This is why the Waters µBondapak columns are still the most widely referenced and requested columns in the world.
There are many methods that require the use of these sorbents similar to the first HPLC packing materials which were composed of non-spherical and irregularly shaped particles. Typically, these columns have reduced mechanical stability and lower efficiency compared to a column packed with spherical particles. As a primary manufacturer of sorbents and bonded materials, Waters has demonstrated consistent and reliable column performance for over 40 years and we will continue to support these brands for the future.
With the reversed-phase µBondapak Cyano (CN) Column, you can analyze particles of irregular shape. It also offers an operating pressure of up to 6000 psi (415 Bar).
