Use the Shodex KW-803 Column to deliver high-speed and high-resolution analysis. The lab equipment is ideally designed to be used for high-performance gel filtration chromatography (GFC) for the separation of proteins, enzymes, and polysaccharides.
For proteins and peptides analysis, silica-based stationary phases show the best separation performance because the base material has a smaller pore size distribution. The packing material of the Shodex KW-803 Column is completely porous, and spherical silica gel covered with hydrophilic hydroxy groups. The swell and shrinkage are very small as the base material is silica gel. This makes it possible to use various kinds of buffer solutions or polar organic solvents as the eluent.
The column listed here also offers chemical stability across the ph 3-7.5 range and is suited for the analysis of pore size 1000Å.

Column changes are a feasible method development tool in HPLC. A column can be switched at any time. To change a column, attach the new column with a slow flow of solvent from the injector outlet line to fill the inlet fitting of your column so that you do not leave air in the column entrance. Each column’s re-equilibration will be unique to its chemistry.
