Shodex KW-802.5 Column, 5 µm, 8 mm x 300 mm, 1/pk

Deliver high-speed and high-resolution analysis by investing in the Shodex KW-802.5 Column. The analysis column has been designed to be used for high-performance gel filtration chromatography (GFC) for the separation of proteins, enzymes, and polysaccharides.

The Shodex Column listed here also offers chemical stability across a wide ph 2-8 range and is suited for the analysis of pore size 400Å. It has an exclusion limit of 6 x 104.

Silica-based stationary phases show the best separation performance for proteins and peptides analysis, as the base material has a smaller pore size distribution. The Shodex KW-802.5 Column uses packing material that is completely porous and spherical silica gel covered with hydrophilic hydroxyl groups. The swell and shrinkage are very small as the base material is silica gel. This makes it possible to use various kinds of buffer solutions or polar organic solvents as the eluent in the analysis of proteins.

Waters is in continuous collaboration with other manufacturers to ensure that you can benefit from a wide range of products collected on a single, authentic platform and are able to conveniently purchase all your equipment together. What Is The Major Basis In Enzyme Measurement?

Enzyme activity is determined by measuring the amount of product formed or substrate consumed in a reaction in a given time. Initial velocity corresponds to the activity measured when the amount of consumed substrate is less than 20% of the total substrate originally present.
