Nova-Pak Phenyl Column, 60Å, 4 µm, 3.9 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk
Leverage the phenyl ligand in the Nova-Pak HP Phenyl column to achieve unique compound selectivity with reversed-phase applications. The Waters Nova-Pak HP Phenyl column series is based on 4 µm silica-based particle technology.
Available in the 4 µm and 6 µm particle sizes, the bonded phases of Nova-Pak HP Phenyl offer high resolution as well as faster and more efficient chromatography. By using the smaller particle size in conjunction with shorter column lengths, you can reduce solvent consumption while maintaining resolution for complex mixtures. This particular listing is suitable for the analysis of particle size 4 µm and pore size 60Å. However, the Nova-Pak HP Phenyl analytical columns with 4 µm particle size packing are available in 75, 150, and 300 mm lengths of steel columns. You can shop for lab equipment directly from our online store to be certain that you are receiving original Waters’ products.
Like all the lab equipment that is manufactured by Waters, all Nova-Pak Columns are packed to stringent QC procedures to ensure batch-to-batch reproducibility. The packing materials were designed specifically for use with the ACQUITY UPLC System and are manufactured in a cGMP, ISO 9001 certified plant using ultra-pure reagents. In addition to this, each batch of the Nova-Pak packing material is tested chromatographically with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes, and the results are held to narrow specification ranges to assure excellent, reproducible performance. To guarantee that the product you receive from us will deliver the optimum performance, every column is individually tested, and a Performance Chromatogram and Certificate of Batch Analysis are provided on the eCord™ Intelligent Chip.
Waters recommends that you also invest in the LCMS Certified Clear Glass 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum, 2 mL Volume, 100/pk to store your solvents, solutions, and samples in a safe and chemically inert environment to get the most reliable analysis results. Waters offers the only vials chemically tested and certified for LC and LC/MS Analysis.
What Pressure Can Work With The Nova-Pak Phenyl Column?
This particular variant of the Nova-Pak Phenyl Column can tolerate a maximum of 6000 psi (415 Bar) pressure. However, it is recommended that for optimum performance and to avoid any damage to the equipment and system, the pressure range be kept between 4,000-5,000 psi.
