Spherisorb ODS1 Column, 80Å, 5 µm, 4.6 mm X 125 mm, 1/pk

The Spherisorb ODS1 Column is a dependable, general-purpose, silica-based, reversed-phase C18 column that has been carefully designed to handle a wide range of applications. By adding the Spherisorb ODS1 Column into your lab setup, you can meet all the liquid chromatography challenges of your lab.

The packing used in the manufacturing of the Spherisorb ODS1 Column has a low ligand density with a specified carbon load of 6.2%. This packing enables one to address four important performance features, including peak symmetry, column efficiency, column lifetime, and column-to-column reproducibility. Additionally, you can purchase the lab equipment with the certainty of its performance as the column packing processes used by Waters are developed to ensure maximum performance at all times.

Like all of Waters lab equipment, the Spherisorb ODS1 analytical column is manufactured in a cGMP, ISO 9001 certified plant using ultra-pure reagents. Each of the Spherisorb ODS1 Columns is individually tested, and a copy of the test chromatogram is supplied with each column to make sure that you have proof of the column’s quality.

You can browse through our website to shop for lab equipment as per your laboratory requirements and also review the other offerings from Waters for future purchases as may be needed. Our website has a detailed selection of equipment, including an outline of all Sepherisorb Column types, similar offerings, and equipment compatible with it in a system.

You may also be interested in reviewing Neutrals QC Reference Material; the Neutrals QC Reference Material is designed for use with any chromatographic systems containing a UV detector. It is intended to be used as a system benchmarking standard. The mix contains only neutral compounds. When used consistently and control charted, the QC Reference Material will provide confidence in your results, reduce troubleshooting and re-run time, and enable cross-laboratory result comparisons. This reference material is adaptable to a wide variety of separation methods. This kit contains one ampule with 10 μL/mL acetone, 0.25 mg/ mL naphthalene, and 0.4 mg/ mL acenaphthene in 50/50 acetonitrile/water, 2 mL.

What pH Range Can The Spherisorb ODS1 Column Reverse Phase Column Tolerate?

The Spherisorb ODS1 Column Reverse Phase Column works with an operating pH range of 2 - 8 and can withstand a pressure of up to 6000 psi (415 Bar). We do recommend not operating outside the recommended operating range, as it can impact the lifetime of the column, among other factors such as the operating temperature and the type of buffer used.
