Spherisorb SCX Guard Cartridge, 80Å, 5 µm, 4.6 mm X 10 mm, 3/pk
An anionic silica-based sorbent is used in Spherisorb SCX columns. To separate positively charged ionic species, this powerful cation-exchange sorbent is utilized. Reusable cartridge end-fittings are required for Water Spherisorb Cartridge Columns. These end-fittings should be ordered when purchasing a cartridge for the first time. The cartridge of your choosing can be purchased as a beginning kit with all of the essential end-fittings, which saves money and time. Parker-style standard end-fittings are used for the reusable end-fittings. Coupler fittings are also provided to connect an analytical cartridge to a guard cartridge.
The Spherisorb SCX Guard Cartridge, like all Waters equipment, is manufactured in dedicated Waters manufacturing facilities to the highest industry standards, including cGMP and ISO 9001:2000. To achieve the best quality, the facilities also use ultra-pure reagents. Each batch of packaging material and equipment is thoroughly tested to guarantee that only high-quality materials are used in production. The results are confined to narrow specification ranges to ensure excellent, repeatable performance and provide you with a piece of mind that the equipment you acquired from Waters is of the highest quality.

You may also be interested in the Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material; the Quality Control Reference Materials portfolio is a unique collection of standards and mixtures. These products allow the user to evaluate and benchmark their chromatography system before the analysis of critical material. The Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material contains seven compounds, including uracil, butyl paraben, naphthalene, propranolol, dipropyl-phthalate, acenaphthene, and amitriptyline at pH 7. This standard mix should be used to confirm the benchmark performance of your analytical HPLC or UPLC system. This particular QC Reference Material is a specially formulated mix that includes a void marker, neutral, acidic, and basic compounds.
What Is The Average Time Spent To Change A Column?
Column changes are a feasible method development tool in HPLC, and columns can be switched at any time as needed. You can attach the new column with a slow flow of solvent from the injector outlet line to fill the inlet fitting of your column so that you do not leave air in the column entrance. We recommend you flush a column with at least six columns of a new solvent to re-equilibrate the column before injecting a sample. Plan on ignoring the first injection as typically, the second, third, and subsequent injections will be reproducible.
