Product Description

The first choice for reverse phase protein separation and analysis, BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl Column, 450Å, 2.7 µm, 4.6 mm X 100 mm Columns contain 2.7 µm superficially-porous-silica particles having an average pore diameter of 450Å. The particles are functionalized with a proprietary polyphenyl bonding process that was specifically designed for LC or LC-MS analyses of intact IgG monoclonal antibodies and their fragments. Each batch is qualified using a gradient separation of the Waters mAb Subunit Standard (p/n: 186008927).

Note p/n: 176004168 contains a BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl Column, 450Å, 2.7 µm, 4.6mm X 100mm, 1/pk with Intact mAb Mass Check Standard (p/n: 186006552) and mAb Subunit Standard (p/n: 186008927).

Suggested Use: Intact protein and mAb subunit analysis, Protein Analysis, ADC characterization, AAV, Antibody Conjugates

BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl Column, 450Å, 2.7 µm, 4.6 mm X 100 mm, 1/pk

Successful reverse-phase analysis of monoclonal antibodies and their fragments is just one of the many ways that scientists can overcome challenges inherent in mAb-based and associated biotherapeutic drug analysis. But to truly harness the separation power, you need a chromatography column that’s more than up for the task. That’s why we’re proud to provide the BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl Column, designed specifically for the LC-MS or MS analyses of IgG monoclonal antibodies and their fragments. And if you’re working in method development, we have some good news, as the BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl Column can be used seamlessly across all UPLC, UHPLC and HPLC systems. That means when you need increased backpressures and flow rates offered by UPLC systems, you can easily transfer methods from whichever system you’re working on. Add the BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl Column to your lab’s toolkit and enjoy the enhanced chromatographic resolution that this column provides.

At the core of the BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl Column is a group of superficially porous silica particles that are then functionalized by a novel polyphenyl bonding process. Thanks to this process, this column is able to provide better chromatographic resolution at enhanced flow rates. This means you can maximize the resolving power and selectivity of various analyzed protein samples. And what’s more, this column even offers a wide and usable pH range that can accommodate varying analytes with ease.

Despite the rigidity exhibited by the BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl, there’s still a chance that particulate contaminants in the mobile phase stream can enter your analytical column and foul it. To prevent this from happening, we recommend equipping your analytical column with VanGuard column protection. VanGuard was developed to meet the increased need to have columns that perform well after repeated use. Simply add the BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl VanGuard Cartridge to your workflow to enjoy enhanced protection from the elements.

At Waters, we have much more than just BioResolve Columns to help with your biotherapeutic drug analysis challenges. We also offer quality control reference materials, full LC-MS systems and solution kits to help improve your internal workflows. Shop lab equipment to upgrade your lab today.

Do I Need to Benchmark the BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl Column Performance Right Out of the Box?

The BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl Column undergoes a strict QC process with NIST-based mAb standards before being packed and shipped to you. However, we still recommend that you use the included mAb standards with this product to verify performance before moving forward with analysis.

How Are ADCs Produced?

A monoclonal antibody is covalently biochemically conjugated with highly lethal payload pharmaceuticals using a tiny molecular linker to create an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC).
