nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Column, 300Å, 1.7 µm, 150 µm X 100 mm columns are designed for optimal performance for nano- to micro scale liquid chromatographic separation, offering the highest possible sensitivity, resolution and reproducibility for biomarker discovery and protein identification and characterization. Like all M/Z columns they withstand 15kpsi operating pressure and handle pressure fluctuations during injection extremely well and thus provide superior longevity. In order to achieve maximum performance, it is important to ensure that proper connections are made to minimize peak tailing and poor efficiency. This specific offering contains Waters patented BEH Technology 300Å pore, C18, 1.7 µm particles. The wide-pore (300Å) trifunctionally bonded BEH particle offers the widest usable pH range, superior low pH stability, and ultra-low column bleed to assay samples for especially large peptides in proteomics, protein characterization, and peptide synthesis. Each batch is specifically QC tested using a gradient separation of a tryptic digest of cytochrome c (p/n: 186006371) to before being QC accepted as a Peptide separation column. The columns are equipped with the ZenFit connector, an easy to use, fingertight, tool free liquid connection. This ensures reproducible, leak free connections. The fittings will fit into Waters V-Detail ports as well as into Rheodyne/Vici compatible valves.

nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Column, 300Å, 1.7 µm, 150 µm X 100 mm, 1/pk
The Waters nanoEase M/Z Columns are made for liquid chromatographic separation at the nano- to microscale for the identification and characterization of proteins and peptides as well as the finding of biomarkers. All nanoLC columns are built to withstand working pressures of up to 15 kpsi (1,000 bar), and they tolerate pressure changes during injection remarkably well, resulting in a greater lifetime. The ZenFit connector, a simple, tool-free, fingertight liquid connection, is installed on the columns. This guarantees consistent, leak-free connections. The fittings can be used with valves that are compatible with Rheodyne/Vici as well as Waters V-Detail ports.
Each batch of the nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Column is QC tested using a gradient separation of a tryptic digest of cytochrome c before being QC accepted as a Peptide separation column, ensuring that you only receive the best quality laboratory equipment.
The nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 packing materials are made in a cGMP, ISO 9001-certified facility using ultra-pure reagents and are specifically intended for use with the ACQUITY UPLC System. To ensure remarkable, dependable performance, each batch of nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 packing material is chromatographically tested with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes. The results are then confined to narrow specification ranges. An eCordTM Intelligent Chip is utilized to produce a Performance Chromatogram and a Certificate of Batch Analysis after separately analyzing each column.
The 10-32 threaded V-detail connection port is fingertight, reusable, and designed for 1/16" O.D. tubing. It can sustain pressures of 90°C. As a result, the process of coupling important nano- and microflow UPLC fluids is made simpler. The flow-path-induced variability in chromatographic findings can be greatly reduced by using the nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Column.

How Does Chromatographic Separation React to Polarity?
Polar solvents have a stronger attraction to polar molecules, which causes them to move farther through them than non-polar solvents do. Measurements and comparisons can be made between the solvent's total travel distance and the distance traveled by the spots.
