Product Description

CORTECS Phenyl method validation kits provide columns of three different batches. CORTECS Phenyl columns provide complimentary selectivity to C18 stationary phases. The particle morphology offers high efficnecy and lower backpressures when compared to fully porouse particles of similar particle size. CORTECS Phenyl provides you with ultra-low column MS bleed, long lifetimes and excellent peak shape.

CORTECS Phenyl Method Validation Kit, 90Å, 1.6 µm, 2.1 mm X 50 mm, 3/pk

Columns from three distinct batches are provided by CORTECS Phenyl technique validation kits. Along with C18 stationary phases, CORTECS Phenyl columns offer complementary selectivity. Long lives, good peak form, and ultra-low column MS bleed are all features of CORTECS Phenyl. To reduce operating back pressure and achieve outstanding efficiency, choose the Waters CORTECS Phenyl Column over completely porous particles of the same particle size. This lets you carry out procedures using standard LC tools while maintaining effectiveness and resolution. In complicated sample combinations, longer columns can be used to enhance peak resolution for co-eluting peaks.

CORTECS Phenyl columns add further selectivity to C18 stationary phases. The particle shape enables greater efficiency and lower back pressures as compared to completely porous particles of comparable size. You get extremely little column MS bleed, lengthy lifetimes, and excellent peak shape with CORTECS Phenyl. The CORTECS Phenyl Column offers alternative selectivity to C8 and C18 stationary phases as a result of analyte interactions with the benzyl ring. When methanol is utilized as the organic modifier, the changes in selectivity for this phase are particularly obvious for aromatic molecules. The lab apparatus can also produce exceptional peak form, a long lifetime, and ultra-low column MS bleed.

The CORTECS Phenyl Column packing materials are produced in a cGMP, ISO 9001 accredited facility using ultra-pure reagents and were created exclusively for the ACQUITY UPLC System. Each batch of CORTECS Phenyl Column packing material is chromatographically tested with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes, with results held within defined specification ranges to assure exceptional, consistent performance. A Performance Chromatogram and Certificate of Batch Analysis are produced when the eCordTM Intelligent Chip analyzes each column separately. The Certificate of Analysis contains the bonded phase batch number and the results of the analytical tests.

You might be interested in checking out CORTECS Phenyl VanGuard Pre-column, 90Å, 1.6 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk, which is compatible with the CORTECS Phenyl Columns in the Method Validation Kit. CORTECS Phenyl VanGuard Pre-Columns are used to increase analytical column lifetime and performance by removing particulate contamination from the mobile phase stream. All CORTECS UPLC Phenyl analytical columns with 1.6 m sorbent particles are protected by this pre-column, which has been tailored for that purpose.

Why Is Mass Spectrometry Limited to the Detection of Cations?

Mass spectrometry, which calculates the mass of charged particles, can only identify ions. There won't be any sign of neutral molecules.
