XBridge Protein BEH SEC, 450 Å Columns, containing 3.5um particles are based on the same Waters Ethylene Bridged Hybrid (BEH)-based particle technology and diol-bonded surface coating as used in our successful line of HPLC-based SEC columns.   They are best suited to separate proteins ranging from 100K – 1,500K Daltons.  Note: P/N 176003594 contains an XBridge Protein BEH SEC, 450 Å, 3.5um  7.8 x 30 Guard Column with one vial of BEH450 SEC Protein Std (P/N 186006842)

The combination of BEH base particle technology and diol bonding methods improves column stability, performance, and longevity. The Waters Ethylene Bridged Hybrid (BEH)-based particle technology and diol-bonded surface coating used in our successful line of HPLC-based SEC columns are used in the XBridge Protein BEH SEC, 450 Columns, which contain 3.5um particles. They are best suited for separating proteins with 100K - 1,500K Daltons. P/N 176003594 includes an XBridge Protein BEH SEC, 450, 3.5um 7.8 x 30 Guard Column as well as one vial of BEH450 SEC Protein Std (P/N 186006842).

The BEH450 SEC Protein Standard Mix is a five-component protein mixture (thyroglobulin, IgG, BSA, myoglobin, and uracil) used to calibrate BEH450 SEC Columns. It is recommended that this standard, like the QCRM product line, be used on a regular basis for benchmarking column and system performance. Guard columns use the same high-performance packing materials as Waters analytical columns. These disposable guard columns are a cost-effective way of protecting your more expensive analytical column. The guard column can be changed in seconds.
