Trefoil AMY1 Column, 2.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk

Trefoil Column optimizes particle size, column diameters, and flow rates for the ACQUITY UPC System. Using the Trefoil Column, you may fully utilize mass-spectrometry detection, gain faster results when adhering to method-development guidelines, and achieve high-quality, consistent, and reproducible findings.

2.5 µm Trefoil Columns for chiral separations are designed to shorten technique development time while maintaining peak form and efficiency. With the enhanced performance of columns packed with tiny particles and compatible with a wide range of mass spectrometers, you may now accomplish faster and more efficient chiral technique creation and analysis on your ACQUITY UPC2 System.

Trefoil chemistries complement each other and give distinct retention qualities for distinguishing chiral molecules. Blends of modifiers and additives that modulate chiral recognition can be used to improve selectivity. These columns are intended to separate enantiomers and stereoisomers, metabolites, degradants, and contaminants with improved precision and speed.

How Much Time Does It Take To Change A Column?

In HPLC, column modifications are a viable method development technique, and columns can be exchanged as needed. To avoid leaving air in the column entrance, attach the new column with a slow flow of solvent from the injector outlet line to fill the intake fitting of your column. Before injecting a sample, we recommend flushing a column with at least six columns of a new solvent to re-equilibrate the column. Plan on disregarding the first injection because the second, third, and subsequent injections are usually repeatable.
