CORTECS C18 Column, 90Å, 2.7 µm, 3 mm X 100 mm, 1/pk

The Cortecs C18 column enables you to achieve new levels of efficiency and performance to resolve complex mixtures or maintain resolution while increasing throughput. CORTECS C18 Columns are general purpose, high-efficiency columns based on a solid-core particle that offer balanced retention of acids, bases and neutrals at low and mid-range pH.

This column contains solid core particles that increase analytes loading capacity and efficiency. These particles contain a shorter diffusion path that creates faster mass transfer kinetics, reduces axial diffusion, diminishes radical temperature gradients, and maintains uniform packing. Ultra low dispersion column hardware and optimal packing techniques help to create incredible efficiency in analyte separation.

The Cortecs C18 column provides you with the capability to increase sample throughput with greater peak capacities and faster re equilibration time. The ability to increase analysis speed without sacrificing performance enables you to run more samples and decrease your costs. Method development is another important function of your lab equipment. These columns' substrate properties and innovative particle surface modifications allow for methods to be developed quickly.

This column uses high quality silica packing to incredible resolution and selectivity. It can be used to separate analytes in a pH range of 2-8 with a maximum temperature of 45 degrees celsius. This column allows you to operate with up to 18000 PSI, and is designed for low silanol activity with a designated carbon load of 6.6%. The Cortecs C18 column is the perfect tool to separate a wide variety of compounds with excellent peak shape and batch to batch reproducibility.

LC columns are at risk of harm from chemical contamination during every separation they perform. This contamination can significantly shorten column lifetime and hamper separation performance. If you want to save the cost of replacing your Cortecs columns prematurely, check out the CORTECS C18 VanGuard Cartridge, 90Å, 2.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk. CORTECS C18 VanGuard Cartridges are used to extend analytical column lifetime and performance by removing particulate contamination from the mobile phase stream. This cartridge is optimized to protect all 2.1 mm and 3.0 mm I.D. CORTECS C18 analytical columns containing 2.7 µm sorbent particles.

What does a certificate of analysis do?

Each CORTECS 2.7 µm Column comes with a Certificate of Analysis, which includes the bonded phase batch number and the analytical test results for the unbonded and bonded particle. The included Performance Test Chromatogram summarizes the performance of each individual column and provides batch number, column serial number, USP plate count, USP tailing factor, retention factor, and chromatographic test conditions. These data should be recorded and stored for future reference. When available, the information can be accessed via the ACQUITY UPLC Console using the attached eCord.
