CORTECS C18+ Column, 90Å, 1.6 µm, 3 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk
Use the general-purpose, charged surface, high-efficiency CORTECS Solid Core C18+ Column to achieve excellent peak shape for basic analytes at low pH. The C18 ligand of the CORTECS C18+ Column is preferred for its excellent retention and stability. Based on a solid-core particle, the CORTECS Solid Core C18+ Column enables you to resolve complex mixtures or maintain resolution while increasing throughput.
The CORTECS C18+ Column makes it possible to use a shorter column length in your system in contrast to the original separation, while maintaining similar peak capacities and delivering faster re-equilibration times. This provides an advantage on the analysis speed without compromising on the separation performance and makes it possible for you to run more samples in parallel, thereby reducing your overall laboratory operational costs. Additionally, you can increase the sample throughput with comparable or better peak capacities by simply raising the flow rate of the method.
The CORTECS C18+ Columns are based on solid-core particles, which give improved performance by lowering each of the three terms of the van Deemter equation. The A term is lowered as the solid core particles pack more uniformly, the B term is lowered as the solid core particles exhibit lower particle porosity which reduces axial diffusion, and they lower the C term as their solid core improves heat transfer, reducing radial temperature gradients.
The CORTECS C18+ Column offers outstanding selectivity for resolution. Its innovative particle-surface modifications and unique substrate properties enable you to develop methods faster. What Does The Principle of Mass Spectrometry Refer To?
The principle of mass spectrometry (MS) is to generate ions from either inorganic or organic compounds by any suitable methods, as well as to separate these ions by their mass to charge ratio (m/z) and to detect them qualitatively and quantitatively by their respective m/z and abundance.
