How Do I Go About Filtration?

Before adding the sample, draw approximately 1 mL of air into the syringe. This will enable the air to escape along with the sample when dispensing from the syringe. This "air purge" helps minimize fluid retention within the filter mechanism. Proceed to fill the syringe with the filtered solution. Holding the filter device in one hand, gently twist the filled syringe onto the filter device, ensuring not to exert excessive force. Apply gentle pressure to initiate the filtration process.
