XSelect CSH C18 XP Column, 130Å, 2.5 µm, 4.6 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk

With carefully chosen ligands and technologies, XSelect CSH C18 XP Columns have redefined the definition of a broad, selective, and modern HPLC column family. Chromatographers choose these columns for their unique selectivity and ability to deliver high analyte loading, operational stability, and full scalability for UPLC, HPLC, and preparative separation platforms.

Built on the revolutionary Charged Surface Hybrid (CSH) particle, XSelect CSH C18 XP Columns benefit from dramatic improvements to all areas of LC column performance in acidic, low strength mobile phases commonly used in laboratories. Lab equipment with CSH technology enables superior peak shape and increased loading capacity for basic compounds.

As a 2.5 µm eXtended Performance [XP] Column, chromatographers will benefit from exceptional separation performance, robustness, and throughput for HPLC assays while facilitating seamless transition paths towards the adoption of UPLC methods. The particle size and dimensions offered by XP columns allow for optimization of total cycle time without a deterioration of resolution in the process. These columns will exhibit maximum chromatographic performance when used with other members of the ACQUITY UPLC System family.

XSelect CSH C18 XP Columns allow for the use of shorter columns, leading to reduced run times that increase productivity and allow for savings as a result of reduced solvent consumption. Column lifetimes are maintained and can be improved further by XSelect CSH C18 XP VanGuard Cartridge, 130Å, 2.5 µm, 3.9 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk.

XSelect CSH C18 XP Columns are manufactured in cGMP ISO, 9001 certified facilities using ultra-pure reagents, allowing for control of the chemical composition and purity of the final product. These manufacturing processes lead to industry-leading reproducibility between batches.

What Are The Operating Limits For XSelect CSH C18 XP Columns?

The recommended pH range for these columns will vary depending on a combination of temperature, mobile-phase pH, and type of buffer/additive used. The general pH range is 1 to 11 depending on these factors. The maximum operating pressure for a column with a 4.6 mm inner diameter is 9000 psi or 620 bar. Columns are compatible with HPLC, UHPLC, and UPLC pressures. Xselect CSH C18 XP columns can be used up at intermediate temperatures to enhance selectivity, reduce solvent viscosity, and increase mass transfer rates. Low pH has a temperature limit of 80 C, while high pH has a limit of 45 C.
