XSelect HSS PFP Column, 100Å, 2.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 50 mm, 1/pk
The XSelect HSS PFP column is a low coverage, non-end-capped pentafluorophenyl phase that, because of a complex interplay of retention processes, offers superior separation of chemically similar substances as well as alternate selectivity to conventional alkyl chain columns. A seamless transition path to UPLC adoption is made possible by the inclusion of 2.5 µm eXtended Performance [XP] columns in ultra-low dispersion hardware, which provides superior separation performance, resilience, and throughput for HPLC tests.
The XSelect HSS PFP Column is one of the silica-based PFP LC columns that is most dependable, repeatable, and scalable on the market. Real PFP performance is provided by the unusual HSS substrate and PFP ligand combination without sacrificing peak shape or retention time variation. The XSelect HSS PFP Column employs High Strength Silica (HSS) technology. This technique was created with chromatography in mind and offers benefits, including improved polar molecule retention and varied selectivity. The HSS particle possesses not only analytical capabilities but also the mechanical strength needed to withstand UPLC pressures.
Review our catalog or our website to learn more about the various lab equipment that Waters manufactures and produces. We recommend you may also be interested in checking out Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material; The portfolio of Quality Control Reference Materials is a special assortment of standards and mixes. Before analyzing crucial material, these items enable the user to assess and benchmark their chromatography equipment. The portfolio's goods have all been uniquely created using the knowledge of Waters experts. Given that it comprises components that might be difficult to separate, the Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material is a very complicated reference material mixture. It is appropriate when doing difficult assays on a regular basis because it is intended to give this complexity. It works with different column chemistries, sizes, and system hardware. Seven substances, including uracil, butyl paraben, naphthalene, propranolol, dipropyl-phthalate, acenaphthene, and amitriptyline, are present in the reversed-phase QC reference material. The pH of this mixture is 7.
What Is The Maximum Pressure The XSelect HSS PFP Column Can Operate Up To?
The XSelect HSS PFP Column can tolerate operating pressures up to 18000 psi; however, you should note that working at the extremes of pressures, pH, and/or temperatures will result in shorter column lifetimes.
