Atlantis T3 Column, 100Å, 5 µm, 4.6 mm X 75 mm, 1/pk
Atlantis T3 columns are universal, silica-based reversed-phase C18 columns that provide balanced retention of polar and hydrophobic molecules. They should be your first choice when developing polar and non-polar compound separations.
With the advancement of T3 bonding, the performance of Atlantis T3 HPLC Columns has reached new heights. T3 bonding makes use of a trifunctional C18 alkyl phase that is bonded at ligand density to promote polar compound retention and mobile phase compatibility. T3 end-capping is much more efficient than traditional trimethyl silane (TMS) end-capping due to its unique composition. By combining the Atlantis T3 Column's bonding and end-capping features, you will achieve superior polar compound retention and aqueous compatibility in your sample preparation, as well as improved column performance, lifetime, peak shape, and stability.
The Atlantis T3 Columns are designed to provide superior and unparalleled polar compound retention and peak shape while providing extended column lifetimes under low pH conditions. Typically, column lifetimes are shortened due to silica particle substrate dissolution by the high mobile pH phase; however, T3 bonding protects the silica substrate from dissolution, effectively extending the column's lifetime.
The ACQUITY UPLC HSS (High Strength Silica) T3 column and the Atlantis T3 HPLC Column both rely on T3 bonding, so it is simple to convert HPLC methods to UPLC techniques. Because the HSS and Atlantis particles are made from different substrates, some method modification and optimization may be required to ensure transferability.
You can browse our website, consult our catalog, and make sure your lab needs are met as necessary by visiting our shop for lab equipment to find out more about the Atlantis T3 Column's variations and other compatible products. We also recommend you look into the Atlantis Silica T3 VanGuard Cartridge, 100Å, 5 µm, 3.9 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk; by removing particulate contamination from the mobile phase stream, Atlantis T3 VanGuard Cartridges are used to increase analytical column lifetime and performance. This cartridge is designed to protect all Atlantis T3 analytical columns with 3.9 mm and 4.6 mm I.D. and 5 µm sorbent particles.
What Is the Definition of Mass Spectrometry (MS)?
The basic idea behind MS, or Mass Spectrometry, is to generate ions from organic or inorganic compounds using any appropriate method and then separate the ions based on their mass-to-charge ratio so that they can be quantified and qualified based on their concentration and mass-to-charge ratio.
