XBridge BEH Phenyl Column, 130Å, 3.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 50 mm, 1/pk
The Waters XBridge BEH Phenyl Column can be used where complementary selectivity to C18 stationary phases is required, especially for polyaromatic compounds. This lab equipment is the most chemically stable commercially available Phenyl sorbent on the market. It provides you with ultra-low column bleed, long column lifetimes, and excellent peak shape.
Get unmatched column lifetime by leveraging the XBridge BEH Phenyl Column so you can meet the needs of chromatographic analysis. The analytical column offers the unique flexibility to work across a range of mobile phase pH as well as temperatures. You can also seamlessly transfer methods to UPLC technology with the XBridge BEH Phenyl Column.
Compared to traditional phenyl liquid chromatography columns, the XBridge BEH Phenyl Column offers a wider usable pH range, which results in more robust method development. The column is able to deliver these results due to the novel bonding and end-capping of the BEH particle technology on which the lab equipment is based. In addition to this, the trifunctional bonding of the phenyl hexyl-ligand enables the XBridge analytical column to deliver exceptional low and high pH stability. This, in turn, makes it the most reproducible phenyl column in the market.
The XBridge BEH Phenyl Column provides alternate selectivity for compounds containing an aromatic moiety when it is compared to straight-chain-alkyl columns and embedded-polar-group columns. This enables you to benefit from higher flexibility in developing orthogonal methods for particularly challenging separations.
Shop for lab equipment that works well with the XBridge BEH Phenyl Column by browsing through our online shop. You may also want to purchase the XBridge BEH Phenyl VanGuard Cartridge, 130Å, 3.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk, so your analytical XBridge column lasts longer and continues to give optimum performance. The guard cartridge works in conjunction with the analytical column and removes harmful particles from the mobile phase.
How Is HPLC Column Equilibration Shortened?
Column Equilibration time is dependent on the flow rate and dimension of the column. As a general rule, flushing the column with ten up to twenty column volumes is enough for equilibration. Therefore the flow rate has to be kept in mind. It is possible to increase the flow rate during equilibration to shorten the equilibration time.
