XBridge BEH C18 Column, 130Å, 3.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 100 mm, 1/pk
Benchmarked for LC method ruggedness and longevity, XBridge columns offer an unsurpassed quality by design. Waters created the XBridge family of chemistries to meet the unique challenges chromatographers face, focusing on the ability to offer superior pH stability over a wide range (1 – 12), high efficiencies, and symmetrical peak shape. This is why XBridge BEH C18 Columns are the lab equipment of choice for scientists who want to achieve consistently accurate results for the most rigorous assays.
XBridge BEH C18 Columns are built on Waters’ proprietary Ethylene Bridged Hybrid (BEH) Technology synthesis, which creates particles that ensure extreme column performance and long column lifetimes under harsh operating conditions, with or without the addition of an XBridge BEH C18 VanGuard Cartridge, 130Å, 3.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk. The particle is made from two high purity monomers- tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) and bis(triethoxysilyl)ethane (BTEE) – which results in a highly stable and pH resistant particle with superior mechanical strength.
Many chromatographers are forced to make compromises in order to choose the most suitable column. XBridge BEH C18 Columns are designed to eliminate the compromises made in sorbent selection by delivering the flexibility to work under any mobile phase, temperature, or pH condition necessary to achieve the desired separation.
As the workhorse of LC methods development, C18 is one of the most popular HPLC phases. The trifunctionally bonded C18 ligand used in XBridge BEH C18 Columns offers methods development flexibility with advanced end-capping, excellent reproducibility, improved performance, and superior column lifetime across the entire pH range. These benefits help XBridge columns maximize your productivity in a reliable and stable way.
What Documentation Comes With XBridge BEH C18 Columns?
Your XBridge BEH C18 Column will arrive with both a Certificate of Analysis and a Performance Test Chromatogram. The Certificate of Analysis is on the technical information CD and will be specific to the batch of packing material contained within the column, including the batch number and analysis results. The Performance Test Chromatogram is specific to the individual XBridge column and contains the following: batch number, column serial number, USP plate count, USP tailing factor, retention factor, and chromatographic conditions. It is recommended this data is all stored for future reference.
