Product Description

SunFire C8 columns are used for general purpose method development at low pH. The C8 ligand is preferred for some assays because it is less hydrophobic and therefore less retentive compared to SunFire C18.

SunFire C8 Column, 100Å, 3.5 µm, 4.6 mm X 100 mm, 1/pk

Use the SunFire C8 Column across a variety of mass spectrometry applications. Sharp peaks, remarkable sensitivity, high peak capacity, and ultra-low bleed are all features of the lab equipment. In addition to this, the SunFire C8 Column provides great resolution, minimal backpressure, and speed, saving you time and money during analysis.

You can count on the SunFire C8 Column to deliver consistent chromatographic results throughout the column's lifetime, the method's lifetime, and the life of your new product. This is due to the fact that the lab equipment was created with the goal of developing new analytical procedures for the most recent pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical goods. Year after year, batch after batch, and column after column, the SunFire C8 Column will maintain its exceptional repeatability.

SunFire C8 Columns are utilized to build general-purpose low-pH methods. Because it is less hydrophobic and thus less retentive than SunFire C18, the C8 ligand is recommended for various experiments. The SunFire C8 Column has a longer column lifetime than many typical silica-based HPLC columns due to its low pH stability. The lab equipment combines patented, state-of-the-art silica synthesis, bonding, end-capping, and packing processes to give high efficiency and increased sensitivity.

The SunFire C8 Column is made from high-purity raw materials under strict quality control and packing techniques, ensuring that only high-quality lab equipment enters your lab.

In order to safely and securely store your analytes and samples, we recommend that you invest in the LCGC Certified Clear Glass 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum, 2 mL Volume, 100/pk. These clear glass vials are composed of the most chemically inert glass available, making them an excellent choice for analytical labs that demand high-quality test results. The expansion coefficient of this glass is roughly 33x10(-7) C, and it is made up primarily of silicon and oxygen, with minor amounts of boron and sodium.

These vials are designed to account for all aspects of use, including needle design, tray design, and volatility, as well as meet LC/GC certification standards. All vials are subjected to an HPLC test to detect trace quantities of substances introduced during processing and manufacturing.
