SunFire C18 Sentry Guard Cartridge, 100Å, 5 µm, 2.1 mm X 10 mm, 2/pk

Protecting your general-purpose method development from contaminants can be one of the biggest challenges whenever you’re in the lab. It doesn’t have to be that way when you trust the team at Waters Corporation to protect your precious data with our offerings. The SunFire C18 Sentry Guard Cartridge is here to help protect your assays from data variability caused by particulate contaminants in the mobile phase stream. These contaminants can often cause your analytical column to become fouled, which will significantly decrease separation performance and selectivity. Add the SunFire C18 Sentry Guard Cartridge to your analytical workflow today and you’ll be well-protected from the particulate contaminants of tomorrow.

How does the SunFire C18 Sentry Guard Cartridge work?
This guard cartridge is placed between the MS injector and analytical columns to provide another step for the mobile phase stream to run through. This added step is crucial, though, as the cartridge filters out contaminants before entering the analytical column. And when the sentry guard cartridge has become worn and needs to be replaced, you can just buy another genuine replacement from Waters.

For the SunFire C18 Sentry Guard Cartridge to be properly installed into your existing workflow, you’ll need another item in addition to the cartridge. The Holder Kit for Cartridges and Guard Columns is required for proper cartridge installation. This holder kit even makes it easier for you to switch out existing guard cartridges for newer ones. Add it to your analytical workflow today and you’ll be ready to integrate a sentry guard cartridge in no time at all.

At Waters, overall column protection is a huge priority for us. You can tell that from our guard column and cartridge offerings, including those that belong to the VanGuard Column Protection product family. But if you shop lab equipment, you’ll find that we offer so much more than traditional column protection solutions. We truly have everything you need to be successful in the lab, including quality control reference materials, standard consumables and lab informatics.

How Do I Install the SunFire C18 Sentry Guard Cartridge?

The SunFire C18 Sentry Guard Cartridge can only be properly installed when the Holder Kit for Cartridges and Guard Columns (PN# WAT097958) is incorporated. If the holder is installed, then you can insert the guard cartridge into your workflow.
