BioSuite CM Cation-exchange Column, 1000Å, 13 µm, 21.5 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk
The BioSuite columns offer excellent resolution and recovery of proteins and peptides and provide scalability from analytical to lab-scale preparative applications. The BioSuite CM Cation-Exchange (CXC) Column is designed with a strong sulfopropyl ligand bonded to a pH stable methacrylic ester-based polymeric resin. Waters BioSuite HPLC Columns for protein and peptide separations contain high-performance chemistries, and these enable isolation, analysis, and characterizations of biomolecules.
Within BioSuite Ion-exchange columns, the availability of four separation chemistries provides chromatographers with the flexibility required to develop methods that separate proteins and/or peptides based upon minor charge differences. Waters BioSuite collection also provides you with additional options of selecting between Nonporous (NP) and porous IEX columns. With the nonporous IEX selection, you get superior chromatographic resolution. However, you will get greater binding capacity with the porous selections.
The BioSuite CM CXC Column is manufactured in dedicated Waters Manufacturing facilities. We understand that accurate equipment is an essential requirement for producing any meaningful results, which is why all of Waters' facilities follow the highest industry cGMP and ISO 9002 conditions, and every piece of equipment is individually tested to ensure you receive reliable equipment and can count on the results from your lab analysis. This helps ensure that you are able to get Columns that offer the most critical performance features, such as peak symmetry, column lifetime, column efficiency, and column-to-column reproducibility with every BioSuite CM CXC Column.
Browse through our website to find other products and collections of Waters products, as well as equipment compatible with the BioSuite CM Cation-Exchange CXC Column, and shop for lab equipment as per your requirements. You can also connect with a member of our global support staff from our website who can facilitate any queries or concerns you may have, and assist you in selecting the best products for your chromatographic and laboratory needs.
You might also want to review the Waters Black Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum for TruView Vials; which are color-coded. The black caps are spare caps for TruView LC/MS Certified Vials. The septum will enable you to replace the pre-slit PTFE/Silicone septum of the glass vials and offers sufficient venting to prevent vacuum formation in the sample vial. It delivers outstanding sample-draw reproducibility while exhibiting excellent resealing characteristics.
What Is The Importance Of Obtaining High Resolution In Chromatography?
Optimizing separations in chromatography relies on the measurement of resolution, which is determined by the inherent properties of peak width and retention time. Resolution serves as a key parameter for evaluating the quality of separations, as it directly influences the ability to analyze results with precision and accuracy. By aiming for higher resolution values, researchers can enhance the interpretability and reliability of their analytical findings, leading to improved data analysis and more robust scientific conclusions.
