XTerra MS C18 Intelligent Speed (IS) Column, 125Å, 2.5 µm, 4.6 mm X 20 mm, 1/pk
XTerra MS C18 columns are reversed-phase, hybrid-based, general-purpose C18 columns that are suitable for mass spectrometry applications. When compared to a silica-based column, these first-generation columns exhibit improved pH stability. With patented Hybrid Particle Technology (HPT), which replaces one out of every three silanol groups with a methyl group during particle synthesis, the XTerra MS Columns combine the greatest features of silica- and polymeric-bonded phases. HPT solves the limits of silica-based materials while retaining their best characteristics, such as mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and ease of scale-up from analytical to preparative chromatography.
The chemical composition and purity of the hybrid particle are both controlled by the XTerra MS C18 column, which is built with ultrapure reagents. Every step of the manufacturing process is meticulously monitored and carried out to exacting standards. To ensure that you receive only the highest-quality laboratory equipment, each column is rigorously checked.

You may want to check out the Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material; The Quality Control Reference Materials portfolio is an exclusive collection of standards and mixtures. These components allow the user to test and benchmark their chromatography equipment before analyzing critical material. Waters scientists' knowledge was used to create each item in the range. Because it contains components that can be difficult to separate, the Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material is a challenging reference material combination. It is made to provide this level of complexity and is well-suited to undertaking tough experiments on a regular basis. It is compatible with a variety of column chemistries and sizes, as well as system hardware. Uracil, butylparaben, naphthalene, propranolol, dipropyl-phthalate, acenaphthene, and amitriptyline are among the compounds included in the Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material, which has a pH of 7. This standard mix should be used to confirm your analytical HPLC or UPLC system's benchmark performance. This QC Reference Material is a carefully prepared mixture that contains a void marker, as well as neutral, acidic, and basic substances.
What Are The Operational Limitations of XTerra MS C18 Intelligent Speed (IS) Column?
The XTerra MS C18 Intelligent Speed (IS) Column can be operated up to a maximum of 6000 psi (or 415 Bar) and a pH range of 1 to 12.
