Product Description

Polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are among the most frequently monitored environmental contaminants. Standard and official methods for the analysis of PAHs are found in compendia for air, drinking water, wastewater, solid waste, and food analysis. Many of these methods specify HPLC, usually with UV and fluorescence detection, as the recommended analytical procedure. Introducing, from Waters Corporation, world leaders in HPLC and LCMS, the best column for HPLC analysis of PAHs, Waters PAH Column.

Invest in the Waters PAH C18 Column, which has been optimized for the HPLC analysis of PAHs.

Using a simple water/acetonitrile with the Waters PAH C18 Column, you can easily achieve baseline resolution and exceptional peak symmetry for all target PAH analytes in a short time. This is because the resolving power of the Waters PAH lab equipment provides superior peak identification and quantitation for PAHs.

We offer a wide range of products that have been designed to address the various chromatographic analysis needs. You can browse and shop for lab equipment using our online store.

The Waters PAH C18 Column is produced with ultra-pure reagents in a cGMP, ISO 9001-certified facility. To ensure good, repeatable performance, each batch of PAH C18 lab equipment’s packing material is chromatographically tested with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes, and the results are held to limited specification ranges.

You may be interested in the LCMS Certified Clear Glass 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum, 2 mL Volume, 100/pk. The height, width, neck aperture, neck center, threads, and bottom thickness of the vial are all made to the highest ISO 9001 standards and are confirmed to be within dimensional tolerances for autosamplers. The only vials available for LC and LC/MS Analysis are those offered by Waters.

How Should The Waters PAH C18 Columns Be Stored?

The Waters PAH C18 Column should be stored in 100% acetonitrile if it is stored for longer than four days. The column should not be stored in buffered, acidic, or basic eluents. If the mobile phase contains a buffer salt, flush the column with 10 column volumes of HPLC grade water and replace it with 100% acetonitrile. The column should be completely sealed to avoid evaporation and drying out of the bed.

What Is The Maximum Pressure That The Waters PAH C18 Column Can Sustain?

This particular Waters PAH C18 Column is able to function well with up to 6000 psi (415 Bar) pressure.
