XTerra MS C18 Column, 125Å, 3.5 µm, 3 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk

Add the general-purpose, hybrid-based, reversed-phase XTerra MS C18 Column to your lab equipment collection. The first generation analytical column is designed to be compatible with mass spectrometry applications and provides superior pH stability compared to a silica-based column.

As the XTerra MS C18 Column has been designed to be compatible with Mass Spectrometry applications, it offers sharp peak shapes, good sensitivity, and large peak capacities. When compared to conventional silica-based columns, the lab equipment is able to deliver one of the longest lifetimes over the widest pH range (1-12), by leveraging the tri-functional bonding chemistry of the XTerra particles. In addition to this, the column provides maximum throughput with outstanding resolution and ultra-low column bleed.

The XTerra MS C18 Column uses packing materials that are synthesized using Waters Hybrid Particle Technology, and the particles contain both inorganic (silica) and organic (organosiloxane) components, offering a powerful combination of the advantages of both. Using this hybrid technology, the XTerra MS C18 column delivers high efficiency of separation and improved pH stability when compared to silica-based reversed-phase packing materials.

The control of the chemical composition and purity of the hybrid particle is ensured in the manufacturing of the XTerra MS C18 column. Only ultrapure reagents are used to make the analytical column. The column goes through careful monitoring during the manufacturing process, and it is inspected to narrow tolerances. To make sure you only receive the best quality lab equipment, each column is individually tested. So you can be certain of this quality, Certificates of Batch Analysis and Column Efficiency are provided with each column.
