Symmetry C4 Column, 300Å, 5 µm, 3.9 mm X 150 mm, 1K - 30K, 1/pk

You can have faith in the long-term compliance of your HPLC procedures because symmetry columns continue to set the benchmark for HPLC drug assays. There's no need to sacrifice peak shape, selectivity, column-to-column and batch-to-batch reproducibility, or other critical performance parameters. Particle sizes, chemistries, and dimensions are all available.

With the Symmetry C4 Column, you can have confidence in the long-term compliance of your HPLC methods. It was designed to set the standard for HPLC drug assays. Critical analysis can be carried out using the lab's equipment without sacrificing peak shape, selectivity, column-to-column and batch-to-batch reproducibility, or other crucial performance characteristics. The wide-pored, reversed-phase Symmetry C4 Column is a popular choice in the pharmaceutical industry due to its sensitive, robust, and rugged HPLC assays. Its C4 chemistry lends itself well to large peptides and proteins.

When compared to conventional columns of similar chemistry, the Symmetry C4 Column provides a better peak shape and peak capacity for the separation of biologically active peptides. The Symmetry C4 Column outperforms other columns when it comes to separating hydrophilic and hydrophobic peptides, as well as neutral and highly basic peptides.

The Symmetry C4 Column provides the sharpest peaks for biomolecules as well as increased peak capacity for complex tryptic maps. This is made possible by the use of ultrapure silica that is synthesized. The end result is a high-purity analytical column with very low silanol activity. The column is also packed to provide the highest efficiency and reproducibility of any product on the market, providing you with improved precision for impurity and stability assays, more accurate quantitation, and adaptability to more rugged methods.

This cartridge is designed to protect all Symmetry 300 C4 analytical columns with 3.9 mm and 4.6 mm I.D. and 5 µm sorbent particles.

What Causes My LC System to Repeatedly Shut Down?

Overpressure protection is built into HPLC pumps and systems to ensure system safety and protect the columns and equipment. The pump may shut off to protect the LC system if the system is set too low or there is too much back pressure. Other reasons could include cleaning the lines or removing leftover or crystallized material that is clogging or choking the system.
